Our founder started Numerus after two decades in the HOA management industry. While the industry has grown and changed over the years, there are some things that just stay the same.
Deceptive practices, hidden fees, unfavorable contract terms, and predatory practices are common throughout the industry, even among the most well-known and "certified" management firms.
Numerus is different.
We understand that our service is not always the right fit for every association. There are many communities that need a full service HOA management company. However, there also many underserved communities where a management company may not be the best fit for them.
Board members often choose to volunteer because they want to make a difference, only to find out there is much more responsibility than they initially thought. So they seek the help of a management company, hoping to alleviate that burden. Unfortunately, in many cases, the board doesn't really much time because they have to continually follow up with their manager and check behind for mistakes. Additionally, they may still have to meet with vendors, respond to homeowner complaints, respond to emergencies, and run their meetings.
Numerus exists to help board members reduce their financial liability while making sure all the financial obligations of the association are met - collecting assessments, paying bills, accurate budgeting, tax filing, sending out notices to homeowners as needed, and more.
